I'm not sure if the links I've put in are working - I want them to bring you directly to our registry, without having to do a search for them... Anyway, here are the links again. Let me know if they are not working for you.

... sigh ...
Ok, quick post for some updates. Last Thursday my stepmom ended up in the Critical Care Unit at the hospital. Don't really want to get into all the details, but she's still there and things are ... well we are staying as positive as we can. She was in a medically induced coma for several days and (gosh, what day is it??) a few days ago the doc decided to take her out of it. We are waiting for her to wake up. My sister flew up from FL on Sat. and is still here. Not sure when she is heading back. I'm on a hiatus from work so I can try to keep my dad and stepmom's business somewhat functional... My dad and sister have been crashing on our two couches in the living room. Life is a bit upside down right now. Hoping to be up-righted as soon as possible. Prayers and positive thoughts are greatly appreciated!
I'm keeping myself as rested as possible and thankfully my appetite has not decreased in the slightest. Tuesday, 2/22/11, I hit the 22 week mark. :) I took pics, maybe I'll get them uploaded today. We had our 4th Hypnobirthing class last night and it was good. The little relaxation/hypnosis session at the end of the class was really good for me. I needed it. And, what's most exciting, last night Super Bean was moving around so much, I felt her with my hand on the outside! Tons of times! And Brian did too! :) I can tell she's getting bigger in there because I'm feeling her pokes and jabs on my sides and stuff now, when up until a few days ago, I only felt them in the front right under my belly button. So this is making me happy. We had our checkup last week and all looks good. Heard the heartbeat again, so that was awesome. Oh and I've gained about 15lbs thus far, which is in the "good" range. My friend Melissa found out she is having a boy, yay!
::Sigh:: I guess that is all for now. Not sure when I'll get around to my next post but hopefully it won't be too long...

Registered at Target!
We went to Target yesterday and did a registry there, and I had more fun this time! :) I stopped thinking too much about what to scan and just scanned a bunch of stuff! It's more fun that way, for sure. Here's the link - Target Registry. There was a nice crib with a changing table attached, some cute clothes, and a breast pump.
Today is Valentine's Day and I made a card for Brian from me and Super Bean. I think it came out super cute. I also made some cupcakes - french vanilla cake, vanilla frosting and dark chocolate Dove hearts on top. It's nice and warm out today (50 or so) so lots of snow is melting. It makes me excited for spring. I drove to work with my windows down! I love the fresh air.
Last night I had some Sour Patch Kids and Super Bean was bouncing around soooo much! It was kind of tickling me! Brian tried to feel it but still couldn't. This morning, though, he had his hand on my belly and she gave a good kick right under his hand and he felt it! First and only one he's felt so far. Good Valentine's Day present. :)
We are really loving our Hypnobirthing Class so far. It's all very interesting and it fits in so well with our way of thinking about the whole birth process. The book is great. I'm more than half way through it so far. I have to work on the breathing and relaxation exercises more and listen to the cd's. If anyone is interested in learning more about it, check out http://hypnobirthing.com/default.htm.
I just got a book of crochet patterns for baby stuff so I'd like to make a few things. Brian got a book on baby sign language and a book about the best baby products to have. Fun fun! I've been reading Shel Silverstein poems to the Super Bean. I love his stuff. And Brian and I make up silly random songs and sing to my tummy all the time.
Sorry I'm so all over the place... I'm just spouting off stuff. I'm noticing more and more round ligament pain in the last few days. It's particularly bad when I have to get up from sitting or lying down. I pulled my groin a little bit last week too, so that's not helping much. My belly is certainly rounding out now. Tomorrow I hit the 21 week mark, so I'll take some new pictures. We have another doc appointment on Thursday too. I think I've gained around 12-15lbs at this point, which I guess is right on track, so that's good.
Ok, time for some reading/crocheting/relaxing... :) Be back soon!

I'm noticing more round ligament pain lately and my abs and back are pretty sore, but it's all good. Anything for the Super Bean! I think we'll try registering at Target this weekend.
Okay, I'm sleepy. We just got home from the UNH hockey game (they lost, booo), so time for some relaxation on the couch. Tootaloo!

20 Weeks!
Wow, I'm considered "half way there" now! Holy moly! :) The most exciting thing about the past week is that I'm feeling Super Bean move almost every day now. I love it! Just slight little thumps and bumps but I'm starting to recognize them better now. I think I even felt it on the outside once when I had my hand on my belly. I can't wait until she is strong enough so Brian can feel the movements too.
This past weekend we decided to start our baby registry. Goodness gracious. We went into it very excited about how much fun we thought it would be... well... it's so overwhelming! We felt completely clueless about what we need, which brands/styles to choose from for the big items... We spent an hour or so at it and ended up exhausted and headache ridden, so we still have to add to it. We started with Babies R Us. They gave us a nice little goodie bag and a list to go by. Luckily we can edit our list online so I just went through it and added a few more things. We'll be talking to our experienced friends and family about the must-haves so we have a better idea of what to register for. Here is a link to the Babies R Us registry (hope it works right).
We will probably also register at Target. Maybe we'll do that this weekend. We still need to think about a crib/bedding, etc. We thought about doing a Snoopy/Woodstock/Peanuts theme, but after getting so overwhelmed with registering, I think we'll just stick with what looks cute while we are at the store. If people find any cute Peanuts character stuff, that's cool, but I think it would be too difficult to try to make it the entire decor.
I also finally bought a Prenatal Yoga DVD, so I have to try it out today. I have to start doing something because I'm getting more and more sore and uncomfortable trying to sleep at night. Last night, when I rolled from one side to the other, I felt tons of cracks and pops in my back, hips and shoulders! That's never happened before!
We also have lots of work to do to make room in our house for all the baby stuff we are going to need! Time to weed out our stuff and organize better. I think my nesting urge is setting in! Anyway, I have to run. Must take my weekly belly photo, do some yoga and get ready to head to work.
Will post again soon! Hey, who's reading this anyway? Leave me comments! :)

Super Bean!
Okay, time for baby stuff! Today was a fantastic day! We had our level 2 ultrasound. Boy, it was amazing. But lets start at the beginning...
So awesome!! Then today, wow... We had a level two ultrasound to get a good look at the heart since Brian's brother was born with a heart defect. We also were hoping to find out the sex. :) We got to see all of Super Bean's little parts. Bones, organs, fingers, toes, face, nose, bum. It was the coolest thing ever! Made me misty eyed... We even saw all four chambers of the little heart as it was beating. At the end, we asked the tech if she could take a look to see if it was a boy or a girl. She quickly looked and said it looked like a girl but she didn't sound too sure. (I had been watching all along to see if I could catch a glimpse of the "goods" and thought I saw the 3 lines....). The heart rate was 144 bpm. The doctor then came in and went over the bloodwork I had done a couple weeks ago. He said everything came back perfect and healthy! Yay! He looked again with the ultrasound and said he would check for the sex too. He was more thorough and said with confidence that it's a GIRL!! Following are ultrasound photos (2 profiles, a 4D of face and hand, 4D of face, and girl parts!) and my belly pic from today...
Here is our 7 week 2 day ultrasound picture. Super Bean is on the left and on the right is the yolk sac. You can see the head (on top) and little stubs for hands/feet. I thought it looked like a gummy bear! :) Heartbeat measured at 126 bpm.
Next up, belly photos. I took one every week from 6 weeks on. Each one has some info about how I was feeling that week.

Alright, now that you are sick of looking at my belly... :) Here is a video we took of the heartbeat when we heard it for the first time at 12 weeks 1 day (I started to laugh at the end and couldn't stop! Made for a fun crackling sound on the doppler, lol).
