Needless to say, we were trying again by June. Second time around, it didn't happen as quickly and by the end of September/early October, we were getting frustrated... (I know, that's not that long, but it felt like it!) We decided to stop thinking about it so much and just enjoy our time together. Well, if you've done the math yet, I ended up finding out I was pregnant on 10/20/2010. :) The cool thing is, that was right around the time that the first baby would have been due. It seemed very apropos and we had a good feeling about this one. We had been calling the first one "Baby Bean". Therefore, this one is "Super Bean" - It's Baby Bean with Super powers. :)
Once
we knew I was pregnant, we decided it was time to book the cruise vacation that we had been thinking about. We went down to FL and stayed with Dan & Steve for Christmas weekend. It was great! This pic is of us on Christmas morning out by their pool. :) We got some fun baby stuff from people for Christmas gifts. I plan on taking some pictures of it all and posting on here sometime soon.
That Monday, we left on our 5-night Carnival Cruise with stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. It was fun and relaxing, just what we needed. While in Cayman, we met up with our friend Joanne. We went on a glass-bottom boat ride and had a delicious lunch. Then in Cozumel, we used our gift from my mom and spent the day relaxing at a beach club. On the boat we saw shows, played trivia games, ate lots of food. :) I ended up being the winner of Michael Jackson Name That Tune Trivia and then on the last day, Brian won bingo! Woohoo!!
